Welcome Parents!
I am April Finley and I am a Third grade teacher at Sunny Grove Elementary School! This is my 6th year working at Sunny Grove and I hope to continue to serve the wonderful parents and students of this community. :)
I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Georgia Southern University... GO EAGLES!
I look forward to meeting each of you at our Open House Night on August 14th from 2pm-4pm. If you are unable to make it, I will be meeting with parents after school on the first day of school to answer any questions you may have.
During our first ten days of school, our class will be learning positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) school expectations, classroom procedures, hallway expecations, lunchroom expectations, character expectations and dissmissal expectations. There will not be many assignements coming home, but lots of getting to know you activities, as well as important students/parent information forms needing to be completed and returned.
